We're looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Director to join our team and help us achieve $10M+ in annual hotel room sales across the cruise, group, corporate, and leisure travel segments.
As our Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic sales team, building client relationships, and implementing strategies that maximize revenue opportunities in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Drive $10M+ in annual hotel room sales across multiple segments, including group business, corporate accounts, and leisure travel.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team of 3-5 members to achieve and exceed their targets.
- Strategic Sales: Develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with company goals.
- Relationship Building: Leverage your book of business and industry expertise to build a strong pipeline of new and existing clients.
- Commission Structures: Design and manage performance-based incentive structures to drive team success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Performance Monitoring: Track sales metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or senior sales leader in the hospitality industry.
- Expertise in cruise business, group business, corporate accounts, and leisure travel segments.
- A successful history of driving $10M+ in hotel room sales and achieving/exceeding sales goals.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and creating effective commission/incentive plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Earn up to a 15% commission on sales of rooms and events.
